When you are two years old, you expect every moment to be fun. Instinctively knowing how to jump on a bed and leap into your mommy’s arms as a grand finale. Mommy is a playground – to be climbed on and jumped on – with the magical ability to heal boo-boo’s with a kiss. This is the joy I am grateful to witness between a mother and daughter. The smile when her mommy dances with her and the laugh when her mommy tickles her are unplanned, unexpected, and incredible joys.
